Zander Photo book - 2010-2011

Shutterfly photo books offer a wide range of artful designs and embellishments to choose from.

The boys!

I have been working on photo books for the boys. So my next post will be sharing Zander's photo books.

As for family updates:

 ZANDER-
    • He is moving up to the next classroom - he will now be a Rhino.
    • He is warming up to water and the pool.  A few weeks ago he was in the bath tub and started to swim.  If you remember Zander doesn't sit on his butt in the tub so for him to lay down and swim was amazing!
    • He loves his little brother and let's us know anytime he is crying - Zander will tell him "it's okay buddy"
    •  We've taken him to the State Fair and Grant County Fair and he loves carnival rides.

  • MADDOX-
    • He just got his first tooth on the bottom.  Yay.
    • He is sitting up and loving to grab toys.
    • He continues to be quite the laid back baby!
    • And he lovessss his food well except for peas and green beans.
    • He has moved from the newborn room to the Hippo Room at school.

  • Other updates:
    • Kacey accepted a new job at Covance - HR Manager, Employee Services, she begins her new role on Sept. 10th.
    • Tony is busy building America.  He is building right down the road from our house.  So after school we have to stop by so Zander can check in on the boys.

We hope everyone is enjoying their summer.

xoxo-

Maddox and Zander

Time flies when you are having fun!

Here are updates of the boys:
-Maddox is in the Giraffe Room at school and loves everyday.  Ms. Amber and Ms. Betsy remind me everyday what a good baby he is.  They love cuddling with him.  We take Maddox to his classroom first and Zander has to say goodbye to Maddox before leaving and he tells him to be a good boy.   On Wednesday Ms.Betsy took Maddox to visit Zander and Z was too cool to stop playing with his friends to say hi to him.  Typical boy!
-Maddox is smiling and cooing all the time.  He loves to sit and watch Zander play - laughing and trying to talk to him.

-Zander is officially potty trained, even through the night!!  So we decided to take back a box of diapers to the store, he was excited to tell the cashier that he was a big boy and wears underwear now!
-The first time we put underwear on him, he wanted to see himself in the mirror so he went into our room and looked at the full length mirror with his Superman undies.  It was hilarious!
-Zander continues to love trucks, tractors, cars, dinosaurs, etc.
- He has really adjusted well to being a big brother.  He calls Maddox "little buddy"

Maddox has arrived!

Here are some pictures of Maddox and Zander - both are adjusting well to life! Zander loves kissing baby Maddox then he moves on to playing with trucks or wrestling with Tony. Maddox is eating, sleeping and pooping well. I am recovering - I had a scheduled c-section which was by far better than the first delivery. My Mom has been staying with us since I can't go down stairs, drive or lift Maddox.

Maddox's stats:
Born on Monday January 9th at 8:52 am
6 lbs 15 ozs
18.5 inches long

Trick or Treat!

Updates on Zander:
  • Zander loves all boy stuff – trucks, cars, tractors, trains, wrestling, racing.. I guess I need to get use to not playing dress up or going shopping with the boys.
  • Zander can count to 10 – each time he walks down the stairs he counts each step. At the end he jumps off and says “yay!
  • He has been upgraded to a big boy bed ( twin bed) and we moved him downstairs. Last night (Saturday) was his first night. I was a bit nervous since he is such a good sleeper, but he slept through the night. Slept in until 7:30, he is usually up about 6:00. He loves his bed. The room is not finished once it’s painted and decorated I will take pictures.
  • He is going to be a giraffe for Halloween. We are teaching him to say “trick or treat” but he thinks we are asking him which one, so he keeps saying “treat” – of course! It’s quite funny.

We are heading to Portland next week to visit Kurt, Gret, Rory, Mark, Kalli, Nathan, Tyler, AJ and Reese. We are looking forward to seeing all of them. Zander is excited to fly on a big airplane to play with five boys.

Maddox is doing well, growing and moving around a lot. He has found my ribs just like Zander did – so I am enjoying the punches in the ribs. We have our c-section scheduled for January 9th at 8:30 am. So unless he comes early we are planning for a January 9th baby! I hope the next three months go by fast.

Tony and I will be dressing up for Halloween as Jersey Shore – Snooki and the Situation! We are going with eight friends so watch out for the Jersey Shore group!

In case you missed Midnight Madness last weekend, College Basketball has officially started! Games begin next week!! Go Hoosiers!
